The cottage is nicely furnished with a lovely cosy feel and tasteful mix of modern/vintage decor. It is conveniently located close to many walks and local towns, making it a great base for exploring the area. The Maypole in Long Preston offers delicious food, such as the steak and ale pie and jam roly poly. The cottage is also equipped with all modern amenities, including a key safe for easy check-in.
There were a few minor issues, such as a dodgy front door lock and a lack of essential items like oil, salt. Additionally, there was some noise from the busy main road outside, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

We recently stayed at a cottage in a charming village near beautiful walking routes. The cottage had a modern kitchen, with all the necessary appliances, and a cozy living room. The bedroom on the first floor was comfortable, with two single beds, and the attic conversion housed a spacious master double bed. The cottage was decorated beautifully and had a high standard finish, retaining its character. The location was ideal for exploring the area, with several pubs and a local store nearby. The inclusion of Wi-Fi and TV was a nice touch, perfect for relaxing after a day out in the dales.
There were a few downsides to our stay. the Wi-Fi was often slow or completely unusable, which was frustrating.

Had a delightful Christmas stay in a charming old cottage. Loved the homely feel with small details like wreaths and cushions. The location was great, being on the edge of the village with easy access to local pubs and a short drive to Settle, Skipton, and the Dales. Enjoyed exploring the nearby village green and taking walks in the picturesque surroundings. The cottage was small but well-equipped, making it cozy and comfortable for our Christmas getaway.
The cottage was located on a main road, so there was occasional noise from passing trucks, but it didn't bother us too much. The low roof beams and narrow stairs added to the cottage's charm, though we did bump our heads a few times.

I recently had a lovely stay at a cosy cottage on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage was full of character and had a charming, traditional feel. The kitchen was equipped with everything I could possibly need, and there were handy instructions and local attraction leaflets provided by the host. The host was also understanding and helpful when we needed assistance with a minor issue.

Despite the wifi being a bit spotty, the host had left helpful instructions on how to use the facilities and there were plenty of leaflets about local places to visit. the kitchen was packed with everything we needed, making cooking a breeze. the cottage itself had a lot of character and was very cozy.
The parking situation was a nightmare. the hill was steep and made it difficult to park, and some neighbors were quite rude and made it even more challenging.
